My Pillars & Wishlist

I do not consider myself particularly wise, but here are some of my philosophies. You may accept or reject any or all of these, but perhaps there is something within this song-‘o-heart that will aid you. As they evolve, I will update this list:

  • Forgiveness.
    • With so many prayers being offered up to the abyss of our minds, it is easy to forget that forgiveness requires consent.
    • You do not have to forgive others if you do not wish to. It is your obligation-free choice. People that force forgiveness are toxic.
    • If you have an unnecessary weight upon you, forgive yourself. Only you may absolve that burden. It requires open & honest introspection, but you owe it to yourself.
  • Love.
    • Love is patient. Love is kind. Love does not want nor covet. It does not boast. It is not proud. It does not dishonor others. It is not self-seeking, nor is it easily angered. It keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil, but rejoices in Veritas. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always preserves. Love never fails.
    • It does not matter what type of love you pursue – whether it be aromantic, asexual, romantic, self, or otherwise – just pursue it. It is all we truly have.
    • No matter what, always include yourself. Love yourself before all else. Be kind to yourself. Do not feel bad for needing to change to feel more at ease, love yourself even more.
    • Allow your love of self to inform you of how to treat others. Treat them the way they wish to be treated, just as you are treating yourself as you want to be treated.
  • Patience.
    • We occupy an incredibly small time interval, in the history of the universe, with our lives. Let your journey unfold. Give it time to average out.
    • Consider that the success of a person’s life can only be determined once they have passed. The only thing there is to do is to live gracefully and pass pleasantly.
    • Listen to the stories of other people. They could potentially change your life. While there are constants in life – always a lighthouse – there are innumerable variables that add flavor to people’s stories.
    • Allow the experiences of others inform you on how to shape your world view.
    • Challenge your views, if they conflict with what people with experience with the situation are telling you.
    • Cement the experiences of others into your mind with data from properly chosen sources.
  • Education.
    • If you wish to be informed, you must perform your own research.
    • Take an active role in your own life and, for once in your life, stop lying to yourself about being “informed.”
    • Before researching, analyze and scrutinize your thoughts.
    • Identify internal biases. Identify your ingroups and outgroups in relation to you. Discover logical fallacies & errors.
    • Develop a full understanding and appreciation for mathematics, as much of logic is based upon it.
    • Try to find proper literature on topics. If they are of scientific value, they will be in a legitimate scientific journal – not an OPed. – with a decent Impact Factor. Google Scholar is a good place to start with searching through articles.
    • It only matters where the data are. The independent interpretation by non-scientists to sway public opinion is as irrelevant as that of fringe dissenters in denial.
    • If you cannot explain it simply, you do not understand it well enough. Some things cannot be condensed, but being terse can often be more versatile.

Several things I hope to see within my lifetime:

  • Government revolution in favor of the people.
  • The widespread implementation of current AI & robotic technology.
  • Economic policy geared toward democratic socialism.
  • Dissolution of immigration quotas.
  • Full citizenship to anyone that chooses to move here.
  • Overhaul of the health care system with greater focus on preventative care, empathy, and evidence-based practices.
  • Proper tracking of individual health records.
  • Mandatory vaccination.
  • Every single person on this globe in a shelter – whether their own home or some type of apartment complex arrangement.
  • Full conversion to renewable energy in transition to sustainable energy.
  • A complete overhaul of the criminal justice system.
  • Decriminalization of all drugs.
  • Properly funded mental health care.
  • Better access to cutting-edge treatments developed by national labs.
  • The widespread use of automated vehicles – land, sea, and air.
  • The first base on the Moon and first colony on Mars.
  • Warp technology.
  • Matter replicators, or at least 3D printers capable of providing super-low-calorie snacks flavored like our most addictive and favorite foods.
  • An elevator to space.
  • The acknowledgement of differences to provide solutions that address the root-cause of problems.
  • Agender bathrooms – central sink area with individual stalls for anyone that enters.
  • Gaia finally at peace.

My current life goals:

  • Become financially secure through independent means.

  • Pass the knowledge and perspectives I have gained from my experiences in life on so that they may help someone else in need.

  • Write down the details of my life. I can’t help but think if I had read one book about someone like me, then perhaps I wouldn’t have felt so helpless and lost all those years. So, I’d like to throw my two cents into the pile at some point.

  • If things go well, I’d like to purchase some land and an industrial additive manufacturing “printer” that uses concrete or some sturdy decent building material.
    • Use this technology to create centers for impoverish LGBTQIA+ individuals or other minority groups that need affordable secure areas to live so that they can realize their potential and thrive.

Current Activities:

  • YouTube communicator on topics relating to science, LGBTQIA+ issues, ethical or moral topics, and more: Gwyn Song
  • Gaming commentary on YouTube with a variety of genres, or “just whatever.” I always preferred peaceful gaming videos, and that’s what I do: Night Witch Gaming
  • I create art – upcycling old furniture/objects and creating tie dye treats – which can be found on: Rockin’ Custom Dyes by Marcella
    • We also offer a monthly subscription service through Patreon that is in my name and mostly devoted to my YouTube audience.
